The team has really enjoyed visiting all of the cities in Brazil and Jales was no acception. We visited the Courthouse, 2 English schools, a state of the art hospital specialized for cancer treatment, and the absolutely beautiful water treatment facility.
Aside from our visits we also spent our time with some very wonderful Rotarians and their families. My hosts son, Edwardo, charmingly made his way into almost all of our photos. For our time spent in Jales we have dubbed him an honorary team member.
Thank you Jales! We miss you already!!!

Along the recent years, we have received many GSE teams, such as from India, France, Taiwan, England and the most recently one, from Chicago.
The two Rotary Clubs we have in Jales were very honoured to host this wonderful team.
I was the Rotarian in charge for arranging all the schedule for the visit of this GSE team in Jales and I must tell you that I was very pleased to be your interpreter here.
There is no doubt that this GSE team was the best, we have ever hosted.
I would like to congratulate your Governor for such a wonderful team. Thanks Donna, Scott, Ronnie, Chris and Cindy for the wonderful time we have spent together and for letting us know a little bit of each of you.
We look forward to receive your visit again, anytime you wish to do so, despite of taking part of any Rotary International Program.
We will keep our houses with doors open to all of you!

I did not experience the Brazilian birthday traditions as stated on my cultural wish list… but YOU alone went out of your way to buy me a birthday cake without prior knowledge and at the last minute too… YOU truly touched my heart when I felt completely alone in a foreign land and brought a ray of sunshine to my day.
